Taking a forehead temperature
Follow these simple steps when using your KnowYou+ thermometer. Always refer to the supplied instructions for use for full operating guidance.
Switch on
Turn the thermometer on and allow the display to become ready.
Select body mode
Make sure the thermometer is set to the correct body or forehead measurement mode.
Aim at the forehead
Position the thermometer towards the centre of the forehead without touching the skin.
Press scan
Press the measurement button while keeping the thermometer steady.
Wait for the reading
The temperature will appear on the display in approximately one second.
Read the display
Review the temperature shown and the colour indication on the screen.

Understanding the colour display

Your KnowYou+ thermometer can store the previous 32 temperature measurements.
This makes it easy to review recent readings directly on the thermometer.
